Case Study: Interim CFO

No Movement Case Study Interim

Published on 17th February 2022

The Requirement:

A large NFP provider of community and mental health services required a CFO due to the incumbent's departure. The business was looking to reorganise the Finance and Shared Services area so needed an Interim CFO capable of driving and delivering the change. Once the change was embedded, the company could then go to market for a permanent CFO with the skillset for the new structure.

Process and Outcome:

Watermark turned around 3 highly qualified CFO’s within 4 business days who had experience in restructuring Finance and Shared Services environments. The client met all three before choosing the person with the best skills and style to fit the organisation. One week after the call from the client, the Interim CFO started and immediately made an impact due to their strong credibility in the sector and depth of experience.

Testimonial:

I am really appreciative of the work you have done in sourcing an Interim CFO and a leader for our NDIS business. The way you went about understanding the culture of our organisation and our needs was fantastic, as was the quality of the candidates you sourced. I know from talking to the successful candidates that they also felt well supported through the process. The outcome for both placements was great, but more importantly for me, I felt your team listened and responded to our needs from the initial engagement to the end of the placement.

Please contact the Interim Team to talk about how we can provide an Interim Executive solution for you today.
