About the role
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a senior executive leadership role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
The role brings together product, marketing and sales to drive sustainable growth across Housing Hub’s diverse portfolio of products and services. You will lead commercial strategy, identify new opportunities, strengthen market presence and ensure an exceptional customer experience across all offerings.
This role is critical to achieving Housing Hub’s mission of positively influencing the housing and support market so people with disability can live how they choose.
Key responsibilities
As Chief Commercial Officer, you will:
Build and execute scale plans across Housing Hub’s product portfolio in partnership with product owners
Identify and develop new features, offerings and products to support growth and impact
Lead and continuously improve sales and marketing strategy to increase reach, revenue and effectiveness
Strengthen the customer experience across all products and services
Build and leverage strong sector relationships, representing Housing Hub at events, conferences and meetings
Develop referral partnerships that contribute to revenue and long-term sustainability
Support and oversee grant applications and relationships with funders
Collaborate closely with the Board, Executive and Operational Leadership Team
What success looks like
In your first 12 months:
Clear, actionable product scale plans are in place and delivering results
Revenue and gross profit targets are achieved
Sales and marketing functions operate as a high-performing, aligned team
You have built trusted relationships internally and across the sector
About you
You are an experienced, values-driven executive who combines commercial acumen with a genuine commitment to social impact.
You bring:
Proven experience in driving revenue growth, reach and/or impact alongside leading product design and delivery teams
Strong capability in building relationships and representing organisations externally
A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with the humility to “roll up your sleeves”
The ability to grow others, test ideas and work pragmatically in a fast-moving environment
Experience in a commercial setting, driving revenue through product and a track-record of supporting teams through collaborative leadership is essential. Experience in disability, housing, health, social enterprise or adjacent sectors is welcomed but not essential — alignment with our purpose absolutely is.
