This is no ordinary executive leadership opportunity as the time has come for Blundstone Australia, to identify a new Chief Executive Officer who is willing to lead the company forward for the next decade and more. Founded in Tasmania, Australia in 1870, Blundstone is renowned for durability, quality, craftsmanship and understated style. Best known for their iconic elastic-sided Chelsea boot, their boots can now be found on the feet of adventurers, thrill-seekers, farmers, chefs, trades people, fashionistas, creatives and makers in over 70 countries across the globe. Throughout its history, Blundstone has put boots on the feet of Everest expeditioners, miners, artists and musicians. Blundstone holds itself to the highest standard and is proud of the company’s Every Step Better program that encapsulates its commitment to ethical and responsible business management.
Blundstone’s next CEO will be entrusted with guiding a brand that is deeply embedded in Australian identity and recognised on the world stage within workwear and consumer markets. This role demands a leader who models vision and integrity whilst balancing strategic growth opportunities with operational excellence. You will inspire a diverse workforce and represent the company with authenticity. With serious upside growth potential, evolution to date has been considered and measured underpinned by strong principles of stewardship and guardianship of the asset while delivering on strong commercial objectives.
The next Blundstone CEO will continue to drive forward the company legacy of sustainable strategic growth, bring an innovation mindset and have the ability to make their own mark. You will inherit a high-performing executive team. As a global business, Blundstone has manufacturing and distribution partners across the world, with further growth in all markets a key part of their strategic plan.
What You Bring:
10+ years in senior executive roles within global manufacturing or consumer products
Proven leadership in strategy, financial performance, and operational excellence
Strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 80 nights/year)
Location, Hobart Tasmania
