Need: Watermark was engaged to perform the search for this role, however, due to a pressing business need was also asked to source an interim executive while the search was underway.
Task: During the first weeks of the search process, the client identified an immediate requirement to source the role to ensure appropriate internal and external service delivery. The Interim team worked closely with Watermark’s research function to source additional, available, candidates to augment the existing interim pool. A short list of candidates was provided to the client within 48 hours of the initial request.
Outcome: The client selected two candidates for interview and then engaged the preferred candidate (who was also shortlisted as part of the search process).
Client response: After an engagement period of one month, the client then confirmed that they wished to engage the interim in a full-time capacity. This outcome was a result of a highly collaborative client response with the interim, search and research areas of Watermark’s practice.
