Need: Watermark was required to assist in the transformation of an existing processing facility to an enhanced model based on successful implementation of a major capital investing and upgrading of the facility.
Task: Watermark conducted a “fast track” interim search process to identify an appropriate candidate with engineering, senior project management experience of a successful “brownfields” upgrade while maintaining production outputs.
Outcome: The interim executive successfully executed a $47m upgrade over an eight month period on time and budget, successfully transitioning the business to greater operational efficiency.
Client response: The client then engaged the Interim Associate for a further six months for further key projects.
