Our Client
Our client is a specialised allied health and behaviour support provider operating across metropolitan and regional New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia. They support children, adults and seniors living with disability through NDIS, Medicare, and private funding pathways, delivering services in clinic, community, and via telehealth. Their multidisciplinary team provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology, Dietetics, and Physiotherapy.
Your Opportunity
Reporting into the Chief Executive Officer, the State General Manager is a senior leadership role accountable for the end-to-end commercial and operational outcomes for the allied health services across the state. The GM sets the state strategic direction, priorities and trade-offs. This role leads a multidisciplinary workforce, drives clinical and service excellence, and ensures the organisation delivers on its commitments to NDIS participants, their families, and key stakeholders. Sitting within the national leadership team, the GM State Service Delivery plays the pivotal role in translating national strategy across the state — balancing commercial accountability with a genuine commitment to participant outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Demonstrated experience in a senior operational leadership role within allied health, disability services, or a related health sector.
Strong understanding of the NDIS, including funding models, Practice Standards, and the participant experience.
Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, complex service environment.
Track record of delivering commercial outcomes while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and participant care.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Strong financial literacy, including experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational KPIs.
Desirable
Tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline, business, or health management.
Experience working across multiple service locations or in a national/multi-site organisation.
Knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and quality improvement methodologies.
Existing networks within the NDIS sector in State.
