Housing Plus and Plus Community is a large-scale, purpose-driven organisation delivering social and affordable housing, domestic and family violence services, homelessness support, disability and community services across more than 20 local government areas in regional New South Wales.
With combined revenues exceeding $60 million, a growing portfolio of more than 1,200 homes, and a significant development and renewal pipeline, the organisation plays a critical leadership role in addressing housing affordability, safety and community wellbeing across regional NSW.
The Board seeks to appoint an outstanding Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through its next phase of impact, consolidation and sustainable growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will provide enterprise-wide leadership across housing, property development, domestic and family violence, homelessness and community services, leading a diverse and experienced executive team.
The CEO will:
Lead strategy, growth and organisational performance across a complex, multi-service environment
Oversee significant property development, capital investment and asset management programs
Build strong partnerships with government, funders, regulators, peak bodies and community organisations
Champion service excellence, safety, governance and risk management
Provide visible public leadership and advocacy on housing and social policy issues
Drive organisational culture, executive capability and leadership succession
About You
You will be a values-driven, commercially astute CEO or senior executive with demonstrated success leading large, complex organisations.
In addition, you will bring:
Experience leading at scale, within housing, community services, disability, aged care or adjacent human services sectors
Strong understanding of property development, infrastructure or capital-intensive environments
Ability to balance social impact with commercial discipline and regulatory accountability
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, public leadership and advocacy capability
Experience leading and developing high-performing executive teams
Experience working in or with regional communities will be highly regarded
