The Role

The new Head of Quality, Care, Governance and Engagement is a pivotal executive role that provides direction and leadership in developing and maintaining high standards of care and clinical governance across our three divisions of residential aged care, retirement living, and home care.

The role ensures the safety, effectiveness and quality of care by leading the development of care protocols and delivery guidelines, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, and driving innovation in care delivery. At the same time, there are significant, exciting opportunities to be explored with technology, data, and strategic external partnerships that will have a significant impact on our clients and residents wellbeing and satisfaction, as well as their families. These benefits include client and resident active participation and feedback collection, fostering greater community involvement, piloting technologies and ROI analyses, increased funding; and enhancing and expanding services that are sustainable and maximise resource utilisation.

This role will be supported by two Clinical Governance Managers, one in residential aged care, and one in home care; as well as a Manager of Engagement and Purposeful Living.

About You

SCC Living are seeking an executive with a health management background with experience in change, continuous improvement and impact measurement to build resilient healthcare systems that can withstand future challenges. The Head of Quality, Care, Governance and Engagement will contribute to industry discussions, advocate for reforms that impact the organisation, positioning SCC Living as a thought leader, leading care provider, and employer of choice.
