The General Manager Operations & Support is a Functional and Strategic Leadership position within the NDIA and has significant independence to make decisions within their area of accountability. This position will lead and contribute to the strategic planning of the NDIA’s objectives and will set strategic direction, develop long-term plans and implement operational strategies aimed at achieving the NDIA’s mission to ‘build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme’. You will be tasked with planning, leading and delivering highly complex and significant outcomes, projects and work programs that have strategic, political and operational significance to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
The Operations and Support Division provides technical, clinical and operational advice for participants with complex needs. It provides support to the front line including specialist advice, short term capacity uplift and operationalisation of complex change initiatives. Its’ mandate is to deliver services and projects that will improve planning and solve problems to improve the participant experience.
We are seeking a proven performer who can demonstrate a track record of success in delivering an end to end service value chain ideally in a complex environment for the benefit of the participants/consumers of services in a multi modal, multi channel setting. Ideally you will bring a blend of broad and deep experiences which encompass best practice operations management in a service delivery setting; process re-engineering; transformation and change in a digital setting; program and project management and a continuous improvement mindset. You will need to convince us that you truly understand what consumer/participant centric means.
