Gregory Dohnt
Gregory Dohnt is Watermark’s Infrastructure and Financial Officer Partner. He brings almost two decades of recruitment experience.
Gregory began his recruitment career with a publicly-listed, multinational recruitment organisation. After being located for a period in the firm’s Melbourne and Sydney offices, he was expatriated for several years to the Middle East. During his seven years with the firm he operated across a wide range of industry sectors, from infrastructure and heavy manufacturing to retail and consumer goods.
More recently Gregory was employed for six years as Senior Principal in the Executive Search & Selection practice of another leading Australian, publicly-listed recruitment organisation. Over this time he became renowned as one of Australia’s leading contributors to recruitment for swift-growing companies, established Australian public groups and foreign multinational firms.
Today, Gregory has industry expertise in numerous capital intensive sectors such as utilities, property, manufacturing, engineering services, retailing and investment management.
Gregory’s core specialisations at Watermark Search are: Infrastructure, Property & Construction, Utilities, Investment Services and Engineering. Gregory is also a leading functional expert in the appointment of Chief Financial Officers and senior finance executives.
Gregory was born and educated in Australia. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) from Monash University, Melbourne.
