The client (Interim CEO)

One of Watermark’s existing client contacts approached us to secure an interim CEO for a medium-sized wholesale / distribution business that was undergoing a change of ownership and control.

The brief

We needed to source an experienced interim CEO with an understanding of the wholesaling and distribution of high value consumer goods. The interim was needed during a period of change to both settle the existing team and conduct a review of the businesses operations, looking at a wide range of aspects to identify operational efficiencies and cost savings whilst maximizing sales and improving existing customer relationships.

The successful candidate had previous experience in a similar industry and brought specific knowledge of the sector and an understanding of their client relationships. This enabled him to have an immediate impact both within the business and externally.
